Colorado Prep vs. Skyline Prep

The morning match saw Colorado Prep bounce back impressively from a rough outing the previous day. They defeated Skyline Prep 69-61 in a tightly contested game. Ulysses Webb and Josiah Sanders each scored 18 points, leading their team to victory. Abdallah Dia added strength to the victory, notching a double-double with 10 points and an impressive 15 rebounds. DME Academy vs. Academy of Central Florida

DME Academy faced Academy of Central Florida without their standout five-star point guard, Mikel Brown Jr., but still managed to secure a 69-60 victory. After establishing an early lead, Minnesota Prep saw a flurry of lead changes but ultimately prevailed. Jalyn Patterson was named MVP of the game, scoring 28 points alongside 5 rebounds. The fifth-year player on the Grind Session demonstrated his experience and skill, playing under the guidance of his father, coach Lucas Patterson since he joined the team in 8th grade. Isiah Ayala reinforced the team’s efforts with a double-double of his own, totaling 14 points and 14 rebounds. Southeastern Prep’s Montez Simmons put up a solid performance, scoring 15 points in the narrow loss.
