The Grind Session Kicks Off 11th Season in Denver, Colorado: November 1-3rd
The Grind Session is back for its highly anticipated 11th season, and it all begins November 1-3rd in Denver, Colorado! Hosted at Manual High School, this opening weekend will feature an exciting lineup of matchups from some of the top high school basketball teams in the country. The Power Conference teams, which represent the elite of The Grind Session, will be showcased in a series of can’t-miss games.
The event will also feature four girls’ games from the Revolution Conference, bringing high-level women’s basketball to the forefront.
Spotlight on AJ Dybantsa and Utah Prep
Among the star attractions for opening weekend is AJ Dybantsa, the #1 player in the class of 2025, and his Utah Prep team. Dybantsa will take the court in two games, first against Accelerated Prep and then against Balboa School. The young phenom is a must-watch, and his performances will set the tone for what promises to be another exciting season on The Grind Session circuit.
Coach Kyle Weaver’s Return
Adding to the excitement, Coach Kyle Weaver and his Dream City Christian team will be in action as they take on Colorado Prep and Balboa School. Weaver, a seasoned veteran of The Grind Session, has won three championships with three different schools—Hillcrest, Bella Vista, and Dream City Christian. His return to the court promises competitive, high-energy games that basketball fans won’t want to miss.
The Junior Grind Session Makes Its Debut
This season also marks the debut of the Junior Grind Session, which will feature teams composed of players aged 8-13. This new addition highlights The Grind Session’s commitment to developing talent at all levels and offers a glimpse into the future of basketball.
