The 10th annual Grind Session Crush in the Valley showcase returns to Contra Costa College this weekend from Friday through Sunday.
The three-day event will feature 24 teams from four states, 17 games, and an impressive list of Top 100-rated prospects in the ’25, ‘26’ and ’27 classes.
Prolific Prep, the #1 ranked high school basketball team in the country, will headline a field stacked with future college and professional talent. Led by Darryn Peterson, the No. 2-rated prospect in the Class of 2025 and a presumptive lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Prolific Prep’s roster features some of the best talent ever seen on a high school squad. Peterson is joined by an impressive list of other 5-star prospects, including fellow senior Nico Bundalo and sophomores Gabe Nesmith and Obinna Ekezie. The roster also features Michigan-bound Winters Grady. Junior Seven Spurlock is one to keep an eye on.
