The standout player of the night was none other than Hunter Carter, who earned the MVP title in the first game of the Grind Session’s Crush in the Valley event. Carter’s impressive performance, marked by 20 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal, was instrumental in leading his team to an 85-68 victory over Prolific Prep Green.
Carter was not alone in his stellar play. His teammates, Quincy Byas and Shabol Barksdale, also delivered outstanding performances, each securing double-doubles. Byas contributed 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds, while Barksdale added 13 points along with a team-high 13 rebounds. Their combined efforts ensured Rosemary Anderson maintained a strong lead throughout the game.
The team effort was further highlighted by the fact that Rosemary Anderson had five players scoring in double figures.
